Terrible experience
Positive: The positive aspects were that the apartment was clean by London standards and had a working oven, stove, and washing machine , the basic things needed to cook.
Negative: We were two people and had booked this place to celebrate a birthday for a few days. We were looking for a spacious, private apartment with Wi-Fi, Netflix, and a TV, a refined place with a nice view and a kitchen to cook and relax after work.
The result, however, was very disappointing:
-We spent £465.30 for three nights (plus £250 deposit), expecting a certain level of quality for London, especially compared to cheaper alternatives.
-The Wi-Fi didn’t work from the beginning. I contacted the host every day, but the only response was always the same every day ,to “check if you typed a zero instead of the letter O,” which might be acceptable once, but not after several days. Both of us tried multiple times, manually entering the password and using the QR code ,nothing worked. I repeatedly asked for a solution because we both had to work, and the birthday guest ended up stressed and upset, unable to work or watch Netflix. The host did absolutely nothing to fix the issue and even told Booking.com that the Wi-Fi was working, which was not true.And I had video and the chat continuously asking was also a proof. I also asked them to come fixing at least the last day that was the birthday day ,but nothing just ignored.After that I became really upset trying to get a refound.
-The TV didn’t work either, since it needed the internet to connect. That also proves there was a Wi-Fi problem, as the TV already had Netflix installed but couldn’t connect.
This whole situation completely ruined our stay. The birthday celebration turned into frustration and stress, despite paying a high price for a few relaxing days. One of us even had to spend most of the time outside the apartment just to get internet access.
They offered a small refund of only £67, which is unacceptable considering we wasted £465, couldn’t work properly, and spent the entire time under stress.

Buena ubicación pero decepcionante
Positive: Lo positivo es que la ubicación es muy buena y que la comunicación con el anfitrión fue eficiente. Con más transparencia y un apartamento realmente preparado para 5 personas, la experiencia podría mejorar, pero en nuestro caso fue decepcionante y no lo recomendaríamos.
Negative: Reservamos este apartamento en Londres para 5 personas y desde nuestra llegada fue una decepción. El sofá cama, donde debían dormir mis hijas, estaba lleno de manchas y pelos, tanto en la tapicería como en las sábanas. Además, no había almohada para el sofá cama y los edredones estaban manchados. El cristal de la mesa del comedor estaba roto, la tela de la cama doble desgarrada, el papel pintado dañado y la encimera de la cocina tenía desperfectos. Todo esto lo reportamos con fotos, ya que nos pedían una fianza de £250, cuando el apartamento ya presentaba numerosos daños y falta de limpieza.
A esto se sumó que faltaban almohadas y hasta una silla en la mesa de la cocina, y tuvimos que reclamarlo hasta en tres ocasiones. Finalmente, la única compensación que nos ofrecieron fue permitirnos hacer el check-out a las 11h, algo totalmente inútil cuando estás de viaje de ocio y lo que quieres es aprovechar el tiempo. Resulta muy desgastante y poco práctico tener que invertir tantas energías en reclamar cosas básicas en lugar de disfrutar de la estancia.
Otro aspecto poco transparente es que, una vez pagada la reserva, exigen documentación adicional (DNI y pasaporte) y una fianza de 250 £. Esto debería informarse de forma clara antes del pago, ya que condiciona mucho la decisión de reservar. Además, si piden una fianza, recomiendo encarecidamente hacer fotos del estado del apartamento al llegar, para prevenir problemas y garantizar que la devuelvan.

La fotos no son del apartamento que alquilamos.
Negative: Solicitamos el alojamiento porque indicaba que era para 5 personas pero no tenía camas para 5. El sofá cama donde tenían que dormir 2 personas era muy incómoda. El apartamento está en una intersección y por la noche es imposible dormir por el ruido.

Positive: Perfect location, spacious apartment for a family of five. Even on particularly hot days in July, with midday temperatures exceeding 30°,we hardly noticed the heat in the apartment. The windows that opened and let the evening breeze in made all the difference.
Negative: Minor disturbance, but blackout shades or curtains would be appreciated. The existing vertical louvers offered privacy but once the sun rose the light streamed in unhindered.

Appartamento pulitissimo e completo di tutti i confort
Negative: Peccato ci fosse parecchio rumore notturno dovuto alla strada trafficata.
